A bunch of years ago my in the bungalow colony from a friend of mine when we had this.. it was mashed potatoes mixed with a can of corn, a can of green beans, a diced white onion, 2 tbsp mayonnaise, salt and pepper to taste, .. mix it all together and bake until done- I’d say 40-45 minutes at 350 degrees.. tastes delicious warm or hot.. it’s not good cold.. it’s different than your average regular potatoe kugel recipe.. my husband had said it’s more casseroley but said it was delicious.. it’s like a yummy side dish for chicken or meat for a supper ..
by the way, you can’t freeeze it, but lasts up to three days in the refrigerator..
enjoy.. if anyone makes this I’d love to know your take on it..

It's called doughless potato knishes. Google. You'll probably a find quite a few different versions.

The doughless knishes have flour added to them , so it’s not the same ingredients as a potatoe kugel but they taste good .

Or you can make chremsels. It's latkes with mashed potatoes. Usually also fried onions. Yum.
