I live in monsey and am considering getting a masters degree in education. Are there job opportunities for this? What kind of positions? What do they pay? I know the board of Ed in NYC is super generous with seit funding, p3, etc. But I want to make sure I can find positions in Monsey before I work on a degree. All info appreciated!

I'm not that familiar at all but I do recall someone with a degree bemoaning the lack of opportunities and the disparity in pay between here and brooklyn for s/o with this type of degree and for these positions. speak to s/o irl

Monsey is not like the city at all. There are less opportunities to work, there is no doe funding and a lot of the therapy jobs are per diem and require you to run around. I would not go for one of these fields if you are settling in monsey. It’s not a good field here
