Until first grade very common after that it starts fading but definitely still see it around

My daughter wore a bob with bangs until 4th grade. She has straight hair and there is nothing neater and classier than that.

Make sure her hair is stick straight if you do it otherwise it doesn’t look good the bangs puff or curl up and they never look neat

It's always in style for little girls. But it only looks good if the hair is really stick straight and never gets wavy or frizzy. It's so adorable.

So what’s a cute short cut for wavy hair? Her hair is not necessarily wavy/curly/frizzy but it’s not very straight either, although I can probably iron it a bit in the morning

Maybe cut it shoulder length and she can wear a headband or pinned back style with a bow or clip.

Bands need to be cut very often. Maybe every 3 weeks then it starts looking overgrown. So make sure you have a neighbor or someone close by that can trim it before you undertake such a style.
I also only think it looks cute with very straight hair. If it’s slightly wavy then go with shoulder length.
