I feel that no matter the repellent, my kids and I still get tons of bites. Scratch till no end and then it leaves marks.
If I go to the park, I sacrifice on getting bitten all over the place.
We even had our place sprayed. Nothing helps. Mosquito bites kill the summer!!!

Put tooth paste on them as soon as you see/feel them. A nurse many years ago in day camp gave me this advice. Works great. And is very cool to the bite.

There are things that can make people susceptible to getting bitten. Low b vitamin levels, especially Thiamine. High ammonia. Tick borne infections. Then there's the fact that people that have histamine/mast cell issues will be more reactive.
One of my kids is a magnet for mosquitos and they all blow up into huge welts, my other never gets as much as a single bite. It's weird.
