I just finished it and it was really intense. The acting was really good in this season. There was still plenty of melodrama and the British accents were ott, in my opinion, but otherwise it sucked me in. Anyone else watch?

I read the book but didn’t watch.
Victoria (Daisy Goodwin)-the book was great, the show even better.
Is this one worth watching if I read or is the book much better?

I didn't read the book so I don't know how it compares. The initial few episodes of season 1 can be really melodramatic but in my opinion, push through it. I did because I love historical stuff about Israel, even fiction. I had family there at the time and love to see stuff about when the British were ruling.
OTT is under the top. As in in season 2 they don't sound properly British but maybe that's deliberate making them look silly?
Where I live it's on Netflix.
