Not sure how to edit poll but wealthy was supposed to be the last option

Comfortable now. Only have young kids now. As they get older and life gets expensive...hope our income keeps up!

Live paycheck to paycheck, we never have enough to cover our monthly expenses and we are far from comfortable and have about $27k in cc debt but don’t consider ourselves poor. We are middle class earn close to $200k gross , annually.

I did dirt poor. Make about 51k annually. Don't get snap. Zero dollars saved and tons of debt. It wasn't always this way, but life just got too much to pay for. We are very frugal, but with so little coming in we are very stuck

I don’t consider us poor but we’re far from comfortable.
I’d say “managing” or “surviving”

OP, I added a few options to your poll but could not change the order. Also, you already have a lot of votes in, and people cannot change them.

Total gross income abt 170k. I chose poor since we live paycheck to pay check and have cc debt. We would be ok if we didn’t have to pay tuition

We're on the poorer side of money for our community, but I always feel like Hashem has blessed me with so many wonderful people no money could buy.
So...little cash, lots of love?

I wrote comfortable, but you would probably consider me poor.
My new RH outfit was actually new for pesach and I bought it at the winter clearance when it was 1 for $15/ 2 for $20. I felt beautiful in it.
My nnewer shaital is synthetic and was $200 at a pop up sale in a stranger’s home. I’m the person on the other thread who thinks it is a good idea to dye their own wig for $8 and recently send out my favorite one, which is 22 years old, and had it professionally dyed for $55. I sent it out because I am getting nervous as it is so old and I love it. I feel like $55 was expensive.
I haven’t had a manicure since 2004. I buy Mabellyne makeup at target. Shoes and a purse from the clearance rack at DSW.
My chicken comes from Costco. My meat I buy for whatever’s on sale for <$8.99/lb and stock my freezer. You can figure out a recipe for whatever cut you have and it will be delicious.
Vacation is 2-3 days either local or at a suite style hotel for ~$100-125/night. If we go away we try to find very cheap activities. If we are home for Chol Hamoed or winter break, I will spend a little on bowling/chuckycheese/ice skating…(not great adventure).
Tuition I pay, B”H I don’t carry any CC debt.
I am very happy with what I have (although a trying to figure out how to make a beautiful wedding on a frugal budget). I probably have a lot less than many people here who complain about not having enough, but I feel satisfied

I would put myself exactly in this gap.
BH we can cover life's expenses right now with a small family, but don't really have enough savings to make me feel comfortable. We live frugally and simply.
We need a van now, but buying a van would mean using up every last dollar of our savings so.... no van.
We're not poor BH, but definitely far from comfortable.

Exactly the same except we have more debt than that (but also a lot of assets)
I’ve never considered myself poor and I never will. I just don’t have that mindset
I just consider myself a comfortable person who’s temporarily in debt
