Just thinking, would magnets work? (on top of the poster and then outside the sukkah so the wall gets sandwiched between...)

I just saw your post after I posted mine. How do the circle magnets get attached to the sukkah?

How do they work? How do you attach magnets to canvas? Thanks

you use 2 magnets one on each side of the canvas. They look like these:

You use one on each side (outside and inside) with the canvas in the middle, they're strong so they stick to each other through the canvas

Just a psa about the magnets- they can be small enough to be a choking hazard. Be aware if anything falls down over yom tov and you have little kids crawling around.

After Yom Tov, just take a scissors and snip off.

Credit goes to Raizy Fried for this brilliant idea.

Do you need access to the outside of the sukkah? Mine is on a porch so I can't go around to the other side.

I use magnets, too, but I stick them to the sukkah poles.

In general I use a combination of safety pins, for where there are no poles, and magnets, for where there are. The magnets are great for chains and garlands, especially. I stick the magnets to the top sukkah beam and attach the chains all around the edge.

Just got a tagging gun to try this and it works! We have the old style thick green canvas sukkah
the gun needle goes straight through to the other side. simply punch through your decoration! You only need access to one side of the fabric and can snip it after sukkos. We bought the shorter tags so it won't hang down too much after tagging the poster.
Good Luck!
