I also only wear mitpachot, and I'd love to try front bun! I do mainly bun wrap. Do you have a link for a tutorial, by any chance?

Absolutely. I can attest that in the area I live, women can't understand wearing a wig, if you cover your hair. But it isn't universally accepted as the ultimate in tzniut.
When I lived in the tri-state area, I was often the only woman wearing a mitpachat at a wedding or to an event.
I would encourage a young, impressionable girl to learn the halachot. I would guide her to different sources.

I see it’s actually called a top knot, but this one has a rose looking twist on top.
If it’s not right I’ll try to give step by step instructions.
