Can anyone recommend a good orthopedics/sports medicine doctor in Brooklyn, preferably BP that is open today and takes united Healthcare community plan? Maimonodies bone and joint is closed sundays.
Multiple injuries from a fall on shabbos, I know that nothing is broken but may be sprains, torn ligaments and stuff. Knees, ankle, and foot. So not someone who will just take x-rays and say nothing there. 🙄

I was there last week , I dont know what your injury is but I am letting you know it is more like an urgent care rather and ER so there are many things they can't do (Like give shots etc..) so if your sitaution needs more attention and care I would suggest seeing a doctors office.

Thanks. I spoke to the doctor there on the phone and we decided that I'm better off waiting a day because on Sundays they don't have MRI or ultrasound techs available and will not be able to definitely diagnose something if it isn't fractured. I'm dealing with possible sprains, torn ligaments, a dislocation (already back in place) possible cartilage damage, stuff like that. No broken bones, I think.
If I'm waiting for tomorrow, I will see if I can get an appointment at a local doctor. Recommendations welcome.

FYI, Joint disease stopped accepting United healthcare a little while back. Please confirm before you go.
