But I’m on a budget and judging by most of these designers I see on Instagram, I would not be able to afford any of them. (I saw one charging $1750 for a toddler bed!)
Can anyone recommend a designer who might be slightly more affordable that does a nice job? Looking to do my master bedroom now and formal dining room to start.

Are you specifically looking to hire a designer? You can get very nice results and save a ton by picking things out yourself or asking a design-savvy friend and using a site like pinterest. Pin rooms you like to create a moodboard and then shop based on that. You can hire people to build any furniture and paint.

Happy to help if you're interested in going that route, I have experience doing the same.
