Sorry if this is off-topic! I thought this might be a good place to ask since people here must know how they find jewelry, and maybe I can advertise the same way?
I'm trying to make some parnassa by selling the jewelry I make. I made a website [Link removed, Contact Yael before reposting - mod]) and I'm going to post to Facebook, but I'm not very active there and I'd like to get customers offline. I thought about advertising in the classifieds, but it's expensive and I don't know if it would work.
What would you do in my shoes? Should I put up flyers? Leave business cards in random places? I live in Boro Park and it would be great to get local customers. I'd rather deliver than have people coming to my messy apartment...

How about putting an ad in your local free papers, in your kids schools, or maybe In your local stores.
Hatzlocha. I’m sure you’re going to do great and I’m sure your stuff are beautiful.

Thank you! A classified in the free papers seems like a good idea but I'm nervous to spend money on it. My baby is still at home so I can't advertise at his schools--do you think local stores would let me advertise in them? Seems like I might a competitor or something.

I'm trying to avoid them because they have a lot of fees, a lot of faceless bureaucracy, and a lot of competition.

Some thoughts (as someone who did something similar)
People will want to see or try before they buy.
You can go to local stores and ask them to sell it for you.
Ask your neighbors or relatives thier honest opinion if they would wear it so you should know if you have a market.
Give some as gifts if it’s really nice people will ask were they got it.
Hatzlacha.
