For my other kids I usually bought the fruit/vegetable jars. I want to try and make the food for this baby. Tips of what to make and can I freeze or do I need l to make fresh all the time?

The book Real Food for Mother and Baby by Nina Planck changed everything for me when it came to introducing solids. It’s a great book and takes away a lot of misconceptions around first foods.

Baby can eat everything you’re eating, it’s called baby led weaning

solid starts app has some great info/ideas

sure you can freeze if that's easier for you.

I usually start with really easy foods that don't require much prep anyways so don't feel I need to freeze.
examples:
I do the dry baby cereals- mix with warm breast milk when first introducing. I stick with oatmeal instead of rice- healthier and tastes better I think.
mashed avocado
sweet potato- just cook in microwave for 5 minutes, let cool, peel slides off, mash and feed
mashed banana
Mash carrot or other veggies from the chicken soup
In winter I make a butternut squash/cauliflower/carrot or any other vegetable type puree soup for the family anyways, so baby can have that.
