I spoke with Cosmo Insurance agency about my private health insurance. They informed me that for 2024 they are not offering any plan with national coverage.
Is anyone aware of private insurance in NJ for 2024 which does provide national insurance?
Blue Cross Blue Shield Omnia Gold used to, but they have stopped it.
Thanks in advance.

All Insurance agencies sell the same private insurance plans because they sell all the ones that are available.
For 2024 there are no private insurances being offered that have national coverage. If you were already on Omnia Gold and are currently being treated by a doctor for something who is being dropped by the plan, there is a form you can fill out to request continuation of services.
The only way to get national coverage from a NJ insurer for next year is through an employer who offers it.

Thanks for sharing your information.
What unfortunate, but not surprising news.

I've been waiting as well. There doesn't seem to be anything.
We had been a husband-wife owned business just so we would purchase employer group insurance for the express purpose of using out of state providers. That option disappeared with Obamacare - a husband and wife could no longer be considered a group.
It's been rough. We can see NYC from our house yet can't use providers there. I have 2 kids who rely on doctors in CHoP. I haven't found an answer yet...

Is the blue card option only for group plans?
