Anyone have the orange mom coat for kids that can help me with sizing? my daughter is a small 7 year old. I cant seem to understand the size chart even after measuring multiple coats that fit and her. Do I get the next size up so she can wear it next year? she usually wears a size 7

Get 6-7.
I got an 8 for my petite then 7yo. It's huge. Luckily the style looked ok on her even though it was so big.
She's 8 now and the coat is STILL big on her. Def can still use next year and maybe the year after too if it survives 3 heavy NY winters.
Although my 10 yo wears a size 12-14 sizes and the size 12 is perfect on her.

Ok the coat I got for my 7 year old worked out perfectly BH! Fits like a glove!
Now I want to get my 5 year old one.. she’s 35 lbs 3”3 inches.. what size is good? Can’t understand the size chart for the life of me.

I had the opposite experience. I got a coat that should have fit and it's too small. Each style runs differently. Best is if you know someone in person who has them and you can try it on and order sizings based on taht.

I got a 5T for a child last year who wore a size 5 and it fit him well, will fit this winter too even though he's now a 6. I like coats to be a bit bulky because you anyway layer underneath, don't want it to be too snug that they can't wear a thick sweater underneath

So I got my son a different style than I got the girls. And it was tiny. So I sold it to my friend and got him the same I got for my girls.
If it's any of these coats I can tell you how it runs. Which one did you buy?

I don't have either.
But this one runs small. And very very short.

And this one is true to size maybe a bit biggest.

My kids have this one. Both girls and boys. Extremely warm, durable and very very classy imo. Love the fit too. In the bottom inside it has a rubber that's just the right tightness so that the got is nice and it looks straight and no cold air gets in. 100% reccomended.
