I know that Seits can get a higher rate if they see kids in groups. Is it the same with OT? in NYC

The pay is per hour not by how many people are in the group.

That's why most people who service people through the doe don't. It could be some agencies do offer more money as an incentive but as far as I know the doe reimburses per session not per group number.

Personally I am a speech therapist and I refuse to do groups. It isn't worth it for me. It's extra paperwork (session notes and progress reports) and more parents to contact regularly, for the same pay
