Hi to fellow authors
If any of you have had the zechus of having a book published by Artscroll, please can you answer the following question?
Assuming Artscroll has approved your manuscript, and given you the go-ahead to write your book, when do you start seeing money? Do you earn in advance in installments as you submit each chapter, or do you only earn once you make sales?

I published a Jewish book through a different publishing house, but didn't see a penny until it was actually on shelves and started selling. With the possible exception of a handful of top-of-the-line authors, I would be shocked if Artscroll's policy is any different.
