My husband uses olive oil (like the type you would eat) and makes the wicks. I don't get involved.

We relight. I feel like the more the better since one of the main points is to publicize the nes.
I used to take extra pride and joy in preparing fresh cups each night, I loved being more hands on involved in the mitzvah. But as my family grew bh I appreciate the convenience of pre-filled as I am better off spending the time with the family or making latkes and treats which is more meaningful to them than being inspired by painstaking mitzvah prep. Oh well.

We use half water, half olive oil, so it goes out after a couple of hours. Any any oil left we use the next night.
