And it stinks like alcohol with no pleasant smell at all. And no it’s not just me the people around me agreed! What is going on??

I ordered a sample and just tried it now and that was my first thought- that it smells like an alcohol swab!

It’s a bunch of months later and the smell finally started coming out. I get a lot of compliments!

Confused- are you talking about the MFK baccarat rouge perfume? Or actual baccarat?
Either way I would return and exchange. Whichever one you bought is very expensive and I wouldn’t just put up with that
Edit: I see this is an older thread and OP undated. Just curious OP why you waited months to see how it played out instead of getting a new one?

Assuming you're talking about baccarat rouge...that sounds wrong to me, or maybe it's just not a smell that agrees with you, like how some people hate cilantro or saffron. Try going to a department store and smelling a tester and compare with yours.
