I'm looking for recommendations where to go on vacation with a one year old baby. She is extremely active, so I know I can't sit at the beach and relax. She does behave in her stroller or car, so sightseeing would be good. I also would want to have kosher food. It can be anywhere in the Unites states, or South America. I know Florida is an obvious choice, but I was there so many times already, I'm looking for something new.

Thanks

In winter? Arizona is nice. You can get kosher food and shuls in Phoenix/Scottsdale, you can go see the Grand Canyon, Sedona etc... lots of beautiful nature.

I was in banyan Tree Mexico, and they were extremely accommodating,
I got a big crib, baby toys, baby bathtub, pack- and- play for the beach,

All for no extra charge,
Plus they have babysitting charged on the hour.

Are these easy to do with a baby?
Is it nice there in the winter?

I would love to go to the banyan tree but I’m nervous about the pool. She can open the doors and get to the pool. She is extremely quick and active. I won’t be able to take my eyes off her for a minute.
Also would you trust their babysitters?

Did you have a one year old that gets into everything, climbs into everything, and dissapears if you take your eyes off them for one second? She’s like that lol…

I've also taken my one year old all over Israel, we strap her in the baby carrier.
If you like hiking, I'd do Arizona.
Take turns carrying her in a good carrier, like Ergobaby or Lillebaby.
Sedona and Grand Canyon are gorgeous.

Yup. Had my eyes on them all the time, me or dh were either watching like a halk or we were using a carrier or stroller.

Going to the beach isn't laying down but it's playing together jn the sand, in the water etc.

It's beautiful in the winter! Usually 60-70. Best time to visit.
There are many hikes you can do with a 1yo in a baby carrier, and you could totally walk around the Grand Canyon too.

How old is she? 15 months you can possibly do in a baby carrier. 22 months unless you're used to it isn't really possible

She is going to be 12 months old. But she’s about 25 lbs.

There are paved paths around the Grand Canyon that you can take a stroller on, and you can find paved hikes around Arizona in general too.

DH does the carrier when they get that heavy. Is that an option?

We never used a carrier yet, so I’m really not sure. But I’m thinking of maybe going to the banyan tree, like pink flower girl said they were very helpful.
I can’t decide though if I would trust their babysitters.
