Didn't he compose it himself? I think that's one of his original songs.

It's a good question
I always wondered also about the source for the children bringing moshiach.

It wasn't me who reported it, but I assume because you posted twice by mistake.

Probably because you made two of the same threads?

I see that now oops not sure how or why that happened.
How does it help to report it though?

I reported it to let mods know you accidentally made 3 identical posts and the other two should be deleted
I can’t help with the song origins but it is one of my favorites from country Yossi

I think it's an original. While most of his songs were parodies, he did write a few original songs. The only other thing I've seen is that it was based on the Kars4kids jingle (which is Oorah). In which case, basically still an original cause the jingle doesn't really have much to parody.

I think kars4kids used the song. And btw, is this the third thread on this topic?

Tehillim chapter 8 says 'mipi ollelim veyonkim yesadeta oz' from the mouths of babes and sucklings You have established strength because of Your enemies, in order to put an end to enemy and avenger.
When Mordechai was faced with Haman's decree, he stopped the children coming out of yeshiva and asked what they had learned that day, and one replied ach tzadikim and Mordechai gathered 24,000 children to learn together.
The Lubavitcher Rebbe emphasised the power of children's pure prayer and torah learning, especially during the Yom Kippur War and the Gulf War.

I don't know if this is what you're asking, but I've often wondered if the words are sourced anywhere.
We have divrei Chazal saying that it will be in the Zechus of the women that Moshiach will come. But where does it say he will come because of the children?
The way I've understood it is that children are essentially pure and unsullied, they arent responsoble for any aveiros. So any Torah learning they do, or any Mitzvos they perform are sincere and untainted.
