We have a wedding coming up to which we'd like to send a small cash gift. Unfortunately our bank account always teeters on 0, and being that I have no idea when the check will be cashed, Id like to give cash instead, to avoid embarkment, not to mention a $35 NSF for a $25 check. Is that weird, or who cares?

I think it's okay to give cash as a gift but don't send it in the mail

I got a lot of cash gifts at my wedding. Just give it in an envelope with a signed note so they know who it came from

Cash is great. Write a card, put it in an envelope and fold the cash so it’s inside the card.
