Jokes aside, raw fish is sensitive, I wouldn't use it. But I'm an anxious person by nature, so you may want to take other's advice rather.

I live in NY, my house is in a very sunny spot bh. It can feel warm outside in the winter when the sun is strong.

I am pretty cautious about food safety but if it was outside for one hour I would use it.

However I would cook it right away - like today.

If you aren't planning to use it tonight, I would poach it because poached salmon eaten cold is delicious with a simple sauce and it is better cold than roasted or sautéed salmon eaten cold.

It’s freezing in NY where I live. The sun still shines every day and the fish was at a spot where the sun shines directly on! So it warmed it up a bit. Smile
Thanks all. I first put it into the fridge to cool off. I’ll smell it soon and try to determine if it’s spoiled or not.
