what is the link to apply, please?

we got kicked off because they never got our re-application--- whether they lost it or the usps lost it, I don't know. Do I have to go down there or can I print out another form online? If so..... where, please?

https://jfs.ohio.gov/search/?s.....icaid isn't any help.

thanks!

a little more help please.....

we re-applied on December 5th after confirming with our managed care plan that yes, we were discontinued as of December 1.

Around mid-December, our pharmacy auto refilled some meds for us, charged us nothing, and told us there was no problem with our insurance. So.... yay? The medicaid portal says "received" but nothing else.

Of COURSE I can't get through to medicaid-- they're impossible to reach. I could call the managed care plan directly again and plan to, but meanwhile, a family member might need the ER tonight.... hoping not, but......

If medication is going through with no problem, we're likely FINE and an ER visit should also go through with no problem??? Likely they received the re-app but didn't process it yet but DID (After Dec 5th) finally find our recertification paperwork and re-instate us?

I remember some insurance in the past (not medicaid) where medication was a different ball of wax than doc/ER visits and one going through didn't mean the other would. Is Ohio Medicaid like that or no?

THANK YOU!

Refuah sheleimah.

Wish I could help you. We are having issues with ohio SNAP reapplication not updating itself.
I wonder if there's a glitch in the system.

And one more thing, if you're going to the ER, don't go to metrohealth for anything more than strep or flu test.
Go to CC or UH

If you go up the site above
Ssp.benrfits.ohio.gov
You should be able to see the status of your programs and applications

No experience with Ohio specifically but it may be worthwhile for you to go to the Medicaid office in person.
