Newlywed DS asked me to help him order a silver tray for under DDIL’s Shabbos candlesticks.
His budget is $100-200.
Any links that you can share?
Thank you!

I’m not sure it’s feasible to get Sterling silver for that budget

So many great options here, thank you!
Do you think the silver plated ones will last, or do they get grungy in a year or two?

It’s so nice that he wants to get her a present
I’d tell him that if his budget is 1-200, he should get something else, maybe a silver tzinder or something
Save the tray for when he has a larger budget

I use a mirror plate bought in amazing savings wouldn't get silver plated wouldn't waste money on something that won't look nice in a year or 2

We have a mirror under our candles. But if you go on Amazon and type silver tray you'll see a bunch of stainless steel stuff that looks really pretty.

Second (third?) the mirror tray. Looks much more updated and I love the way it reflects the flames.

Silver plate doesn't last.
Save up for real silver.

Thank you all.
Ok a mirror tray it will be! They don’t want such an expensive piece, as in sterling silver.
Do any of you have links to mirror trays? Thanks.

I couldn't find a sterling silver tray big enough to fit all my candles (regardless of budget) and ended up buying these large raised mirrored trays (more like platforms really) that work beautifully. I think I got them from Wayfair for a real bargain, but it's been so many years I'm sure they don't carry them anymore. Might have something similar though. It could even be custom made by just buying a piece of mirrored glass in the desired size and then taking it to a frame store to be framed to your liking. (In any case I would not waste money on silver plated).
