Hi, where are you located? I have four children with hearing loss ranging from mild to moderately severe. None of them require implants, but 2 wear hearing aids. We're in Brooklyn, and they went to strivright for preschool, which was so helpful.

I guess I am struggling with the practical aspects of keeping the magnets on. I haven't found that perfect solution between magnet strength and retention options... and I am just struggling with it emotionally as well. No one around us in the community that we know is dealing with this issue, so I am feeling isolated and I am constantly feeling anxious about my child. Worried if the processors have fallen off, am I stimulating her enough, etc. I just really feel exhausted.

Location would help a lot. We have a wonderful group for mothers of the hearing impaired in the Lakewood area, I’m sure this exists in other areas as well.

When my daughter was little we ordered pilot caps/hearing aid caps from Etsy to keep her implants on. I find it hilarious that now frum stores sell those exact caps with their newborn layette.

How old is your child? And which implant do they use? Maybe we can brainstorm
