Hi I moved to a new community far from my family a while ago, and I would love to be able to have my family visit sometimes as I am finding it so hard to be so far away and I am really homesick. I have place in my dining room for a couch and I am thinking to find one that can also have a pull out mattress for guest. That way I can host my sisters and their kids can sleep in the dining room. Anyone knows what I’m talking about or can tell me what to get. I don’t have a big budget.

There are some couches that you take off the cushions and there is a folded mattress inside.
Other couches (futons?) the back of the couch moves flat, but you are sleeping on the actual couch.
Are you particular?
How many kids are you hoping to fit?

Could you just ask a neighbor to host for sleeping? In my community we do that all the time.

Do you know where I can find such a couch for cheap? I am not particular but I don’t have a big budget.

My humble opinion: Ikea has an L couch which turns into a giant bed, which is amazing. There's a giant storage compartment for all the pillows and blankets that you might want or need, and the sofa is comfy and good looking

No neighbors at all? Is there an air bnb?
What you are looking for is called a sleeper sofa or pull out couch. I personally would just do air mattresses.
