Anyone can help me out
I'm wearing a black gown to sister wedding.
The gown sleeves are sheer so I need a black shell , the thing is the actual gown is pretty tight and not sitting as well with shell
I was thinking to wear a cropped shell. Any other ideas of what I can wear just for sleeves

Ty!

Is the entire sleeve sheer? If yes, I don't know if there's a way to do anything but a shell, tho a cropped shell should work. If only the bottom part of the sleeve is sheer, you can make take an old shell with tight sleeves and cut them off and just wear that. They roll down a little so if you need your whole arm to be covered it prob won't work so well

I had to wear a shell under my gown at a sibling wedding but the whole top was sheer so I couldn’t do crop. I wore a shell bodysuit so that it fit much nicer under the gown and didn’t roll

Why not have a seamstress line the sleeves for you?

I once bought off Amazon something like that for my daughter. It was a really thin, sheer body suit, that together with the thin fabric of her dress gave enough coverage without too much fabric. I also didn't want to pay the seamstress...

You could also take an old shell and cut it right at/just below the bust and then put your bra on top of it to hold it tight in place and make sure that there are no wrinkles. That would leave the rest of the torso free from another layer.

I had a seamstress offer that if I give her an old shell, she'll cut off the sleeves and use them to line the gown for cheaper. It might be worth asking someone.
