The motzoei Shabbos event was so nice!! I did have several moments where I felt like I was “cheating” - like if I’m not at home with my toddler, then at least I should be at the hospital. But I think that’s just my inner critic talking…I don’t know anymore. My brain feels like mush lol.

I know you feel pressure to be with your baby. And you love him and want to be with him. But it's more important -even for your baby- for you to feel a little better than it is to have an extra visit. Give yourself permission to take care of yourself when you can. (I know you usually can't! But when you can, don't feel guilty taking care of your babies' mother.)
