The only bank in BP offering 5% interest for a savings acct, (not a CD, that you cant deposit or withdraw) is Citi?

True, but I prefer using a local bank, rather online. Im old fashioned.

Are there no disadvantages of using online banks, like online banks are harder to reach?

I have an online account and never had any issues. I see Capital One has 4.35% now.

Yes, but Citi has 5%, its just a few blocks further from where I live.

I think theres a minimum amount required.

Its called "Citi® Savings Account"

Ask in the branch.

It’s easy to get 5% these days. Just look for a high yield savings account.

You probably mean online accounts which always pay higher rates.
