Hi. I’ve spoken to a few repairmen and they say not to use fabric softener. If you do use it, then you should use about two tbsp worth rarely. It’s not good for the machine. And I asked about dryer sheets and they said that you shouldn’t use them in the dryer. They said the best bet would be to use the unstoppables from downy or arm snd hammer.
I guess it’s all controversial in the long run.
