Can’t find an earlier post about it.
Is there any way to filter this phone to have only talk text and email?
Like a parental control maybe?
I know iPhone has good parental control… can you do that maybe also on this phone or a downloadable so I can give it to a teen?

Don't know where you are located, but Gentech in Lakewood has a filter for this phone that can do what you say. I have no idea how secure it is and if it's easily removable, I assume you can ask them.

I know you can have it TAGged though I'm not sure if people are happy with the performance after it.
My son just asked me to order him one after his Schok broke and he's going to have a rebbe of his put on parental controls.

Tag used to do it but now they don’t.
Meshimer is willing to put on something but with a monthly charge.

All TAGs? I know someone who had it done 2 weeks ago out of town...
Anyway I just cancelled the order for my son after he spoke more with his rebbe so I won't be able to give feedback on the parental controls. Sorry!

Curious why?

His rebbe hadn't wanted him to get it in the first place when he needed to replace his broken phone but he was tired of flip phones breaking and he wanted something durable. The reasoning was more about not causing a trend in Yeshiva than anything else so my son asked me to order it anyway since it wasn't actually against policy and he would have it locked down.
His rebbe did research into other durable phones and I'm supposed to get a call back soon with the model to buy (sounds like a Kyocera)... And it'll make everyone happy.
