We have an upcoming wedding and we’re wondering has anyone been there recently? Is there anything to do there now that county is at war?
May be taking some teenage kids may not depending on the situation, but regardless as a couple we will be going.

Yupַ, lots of people even living there currently...
What do you mean by something to do? Davening? Mitzvos? Knowing safety protocols in the home you'll be staying at?
A lot depends on which area you're planning to stay
Mazal Tov for the wedding!

Yes, many many people are going now & Israeli businesses are very thankful for the tourism & financial support. So you're actually doing a mitzvah by going.

I came back two days ago.
The airport TLV is quiet, a breeze to navigate-yet sad…
I stayed in Jerusalem. It’s life as usual, minus the tourist.
So the shops catering to tourists are quiet.
I believe all museums and tours are open, check before you go.

Anything or any other places to go that are safe besides for Jerusalem?

No one can tell you, it's a changing situation. You'll need to assess when you're there where you feel fine going and what you'd like to skip
