Don't.
Find a good one, travel and pay. Local ones aren't good and really mess you up.

Did a thyroid panel at my annual and my ob said to go to a endo “just to get baselines”. Do I really need to travel and pay for that?

Try Dr. Sarah Lubitz. She takes some insurance.
If your numbers are concerning enough for referral, go to someone good. Thyroid is one of the most misdiagnosed and mishandled conditions.
