My baby is almost 5 months and some how we got into a late bedtime. She’ll go to sleep for the night at 11 every night. If I try earlier she thinks it’s a nap.
She sleeps in in the morning till 10 so at least she’s getting enough sleep but I’d like to start putting her down earlier. How do I get her to know that this is bedtime. Do I wake her up earlier so she’ll be more tired by the night?
She’s a pretty good sleeper and takes about 4 naps every day an hr each.
I just don’t know how to get an earlier bedtime.

Wake her at 7am, put her in sunlight, and nap accordingly that day. Do whatever you need to, nurse rock etc. To make her fall asleep.
It will be a hard 2 days to adjust and that's it. Her clock will adjust

We have the opposite problem. Somewhere between 5-6pm he just fusses until he falls asleep wherever he is, and then wakes up to start his day 4:30

MY BABY HAS THE EXACT SAME SCHEDULE!! and does the same thing when I try to put her to bed earlier. I feel your pain.

Btw, tried waking her up at 8am instead of 10 - been doing it for weeks - she will nap more but still go to bed late.
