Hi, everyone! I finally got around to my passion project, ParshaNosher.com. Every week, I post snacks related to the week's parsha that children can make themselves, even on Shabbat. Very excited; I used to do this with the children at my shul, so that the snack time was not an actual interruption of lesson time.

Of course, you can make these snacks any time during the week as well!

I hope you find this helpful. It is a work in progress, so any and all suggestions are welcome!

Here are this week's "Parsha Noshes." If you go to the web site, you will find instructions.

Thank you so much! I want to be very careful not to rip off other peoples' ideas. If they are YOUR ideas, I would be happy to add them to the web site and give you credit, if you want, or to look at them for inspiration. If they belong to other people, I do not want to use them without permission.

Of course, we all use the same text, but at least if I am not looking at their work I know the ideas came from me.

If you want to share an idea or photo, feel free to share! You can post here or e-mail parshanosher@yahoo.com.

Struggling to figure out whether to have the Shabbos Stash standing or flying. Which do you like better?

This is meant to reflect that G-d took us out of Egypt "on the wings of eagles".

This is the "Nature's Nosh," in case you are curious. I should have the sight updated this evening... hope to have it updated earlier next week.

Thank you! Yes, it takes time, but is fun. Sometimes I have to try quite a few things. I would add a "bloopers" page, but it would be FAR longer than my "successful snacks" page. The first few efforts at eagles looked like road kill instead of soaring birds. Thank you for looking. I really do hope this will be useful... if not, it is a great excuse for ME to read and THINK about the weekly parsha. I actually enjoy writing the Divrei Torah the most. I always have thoughts, share them, and then forget. My husband has told me for years I should write them down... this gets me doing so.
