Anyone with experience on this?
Not sure what triggered it, but I switched devices last night, new phone. Also tried joining a whatsapp group that needed approval. Clicked the link once or twice and was thrown out of whatsapp.

Message whoever is running the group. How would we know why they didn't let you join?

I was banned from whatsapp, not from a group. I was just mentioning what might've triggered the ban.
When I try logging in, it's as if my account doesn't exist, and when I enter my number I get a message that my account has been banned.
I emailed whatsapp customer service about it. Per Google, it can take a few days until they answer. I was wondering if anyone had this in the past.

My son had this recently, also something to do with adding people to a group
After 24 hours he was back on

I got a new phone number recently and was banned when I tried to sign up.
I emailed then and was unbanned within 24 hours.

Possibly. It happened eight after I finished setting up the TAG filter remotely.
