Did anyone make a Simcha at the Pupa Hall on Widman Ct? Did you use Ganzfried catering? If your goal was a simple Bar Mitzvah, were you happy with the results? Did you feel it was missing anything ? Any feedback would be great. TIA

I used Pupa hall and Ganzfried for catering at my sons Bar Mitzvah.
Just make sure to be very clear with him all amounts charged, beforehand. Request an invoice in advance. We were overcharged because he ordered extra waiters. We requested extra portions incase, but we're planning on taking home the rest for future dinners. All was thrown out (or taken away by the waiters), it was very disappointing. He took back all sodas and drinks, though we paid for it. So make sure you request all in advance.
Otherwise, the food and service was good.

They put out a table- you can pay for them to get the stuff.
I paid for them to get the stuff. Hot food, cakes, nuts...

Paid for sweet table and a lot of ppl called in to contribute miniatures as well. He had 50 of the same miniature instead of a variety and just put cards by what I paid for… this was 3 years ago could be things changed…

I don't have girls or sisters who can hellp me
I booked a simcha
I came to the tenoyim
the head waiter was nice
the food was beautifully prepared
whatever I asked him he listened
we were very happy

Idk about pupa but the hall in rockland kosher is fantastic. Used them many times, incredible service. Idk if that helps.
