I just can’t decide what to do!
I have the spectra pump from my older one-
I’m looking to get an additional pump through insurance- to use maybe once a day.
Should I get the unimom or one of the wearable ones- if yes- which one would you suggest?

On my second kid I got a second spectra so I could leave the machine at work and not have to bring it back and forth. Third kid I got the zommee fit wearable pump and it was ok. Decent for a wearable but nowhere as good as the spectra

It's a question of needing to plug in or having battery power

Get the blue so you don’t have to stay plugged into a wall
I heard that the zomee wearable pump isn’t strong enough and can cause you to lose supply
Get the new zomee hand held one

Anyone tried the unimom?
Should I not get a wearable one and just stick with one that’s not? Or does someone have a wearable one that they like?

Is the zomee (not wearable) good?

So it depends on why you're pumping. If you're just pumping to get a little extra, it won't matter.

If you're pumping at work for a significant amount of the day, you need a pump that can maintain your supply. In general, the traditional pumps are the best for that. Next are the portable pumps that have a separate motor and tubing, and finally cordless pumps are considered the worst.

If you're planning on primarily or exclusively pumping, you really want one of each.

I work part time and not planning on pumping during work- want one to have just in case I get home and baby just had a bottle so I need to pump- so will use it maybe 1/2 times a day.
I already have the spectra- looking for something else to get through insurance.

Using it every day is still significant use but if you already have a spectra and don't need to shlep it to work you may as well try one of the free wearables. I wouldn't have high hopes for the wearable because the reviews are very mixed (I've used some and they were ok, not great) but you might as well try and it might work well for you.
