My ds had a fever and vomited once last Tuesday night. The next day he had diarrhea. The doctor said it's a stomach virus. He's much better now but after every meal he gets stomach pain and still has diarrhea. Could this be shigella or just a regular virus? If it's shigella is there still anything to do at this point?

You can start at any point we started day 7. If you don’t it can last weeks. It cleared up in 2 days once on antibiotics
