I recently saw the Jelly Belly beans with a Hechsher that we do not know here in the UK. Can someone help me out with this. It was KO in a box. thanks in advance.

I'm not sure where it is from, but IIRC a lot of Trader Joe's products in America have that hechsher and I think it's ok. I'll try to find out so I can tell you for sure...unless someone else knows.

KO is not a reliable Hechsher. Those are older Jelly Bellys. About a year ago, they changed the Hechsher and the new packages have an OU and are delicious!!
Keep looking out for them, you should soon find the ones with the OU.

I might be wrong, but I believe it's a conservative heksher.

It is not a reliable hechsher - reform/conservative. You can look it up online. The newer packs have an ou and you can get them in TK Maxx.

that's a hilarious website and there are for sure conservative hechsharim. As for the Ko, not really so accepted.
but as someone else posted. It's good, those are old jelly bellys, they're now all OU.

It's not a reliable hechsher nevertheless. And IIRC, if it's not a Conservative hechsher, they accept the Conservative "psakim" about gelatin and rennet for starters.

The rabbi who gives this hashgaha is the rav of a traditional synagogue. I just googled it.
