I’m considering to look into housing in Suffern, what type of crowd lives there? Is it the same as Airmont? More chasidish?
Which mosdos do people there send their kids to? What do people who don’t have bussing for their kids do?
What are the shuls like? Is it a serious crowd or more chill?
Do I need to drive to get around?
Is it a welcoming community?
Is the shuttle that’s in plan for airmont also going to go to Suffern?

It's a large area, diverse crowd. Not more chassidish than Airmont, if something it's less chassidish. Many chassidish schools, don't give transportation from Suffern.
You do need to drive or take taxi to get around.

It's huge. You'll find all kinds of people, mosdos, types of shuls. Depending on the area.

Yes you need to have a car to get around. But taxis are available so you don't need to drive.

Second this. It's a mix of chassidish and chill chassidish. People send their kids all over but a lot send the boys to munkatch. Regarding bussing depends how far out you live. Most people I know have bussing.
