One child was behind because of frequent ear infections. Gave a combo and child got a reaction. School dept of health allowed us to wait two months and then we had to take the booster one at a time. Reacted again to one of the three. Got exempt from that shot.
Swelling, redness, hot, skin turned hard and infected. Started at injection location but quickly spread up the shoulders and down to the wrist. Was given Benadryl and Motrin. That didn’t help and needed antibiotics and a steroid. Took 6 weeks to start improving. Dr said if it crossed the wrist or past the shoulders we would need serious intervention.

Oy wow. I hope you now have a pediatrician you do trust.
Yes babies cry, but suddenly for hours? High pitched? Does she not know that could be brain inflammation?
You sure were lucky to have been validated.

Same with my daughter
On the plus side I had a kid with very bad asthma and got a pneumonia shot and that cleared up his asthma.

my daughter developed a life-long autoimmune disease shortly after meningococcal. Never gave a single other vaccine to her or my other kids again.
