Looking to start a dessert business from home, any advice or can someone familiar walk me through the process?
Do I need a seperate kitchen in order to get a hechsher? Does it cost money to get a hechsher?
Whats the best way to advertise?
Any and all tips appreciated!

Yes, you do need a separate kitchen (that has a separate entrance.) Getting a hechsher isn't cheap.

Do you know how much I should expect to pay?

Maybe start with your friends and family members who know you and don’t need an official hechsher. You can also send over your desserts when somebody is making a simcha and for mishloach manos. Put on a sticker with your name and number. As word gets around and you made some money then you can expand.
