I've actually heard that the chemicals in sunscreen is what actually caused the skin cancers, not the sun alone, rather the sun along with those chemicals. Basically best is to go natural with sun and skip the toxic chemicals

People freak out about "radiation" except when it's solar radiation, even though solar radiation is harmful. Try a physical sunscreen instead of a chemical one if you're concerned about the chemicals.

I don't touch my skin except to wash it every day in the shower.
I've never used a moisturizer or anything else on it.
This thread is making me nervous.

Don't worry dark purple. If you needed to do anything you would already know it. If your skin isn't feeling dry or tight after a shower, you don't need to do anything. Sun protection is advisable outdoors, but a wide-brimmed hat and sunglasses go a long way.
