It's for the bais yaakov oriented seminaries, and is used by everyone involved. It can be pretty helpful in making decisions and getting in contact with people in advance, setting up chats for parents, etc; especially helpful for girls who aren't going with friends or people they know. It has stresses too, but what doesn't? Been around for awhile- I don't know how long, but I'd say a good ten years at least.

I don't get it. Wasn't there a thread a day or two ago saying that parents have been specifically requested not to sign up on this spreadsheet yet with for the sake of girls who havent yet been accepted?

I believe the request not to sign up yet is for Lakewood or in town girls. OOT has small classes and they mostly manage to get all the girls in on the first round
