If the guest list is 300 and the amount of people coming will probably be around 275ish, how many benchers would you order? This is for a mixed seating simcha. If there are 26 - 27 tables and there are 3 benchers per table, is that enough? I know most people (a) don't wash or (b) use their phones and (c) have a ton at home already and don't want to take them. But you need to have them.
I'm thinking 80 is plenty. I don't want to be left with a pile of them at the end of the night.
What do you think?

Put a bentcher that has only the letter of the last name of the couple . It’s sharp.
And then it can be reused in future simchas

We had more than 400 people at or daughter’s wedding. Printer told us, not more than 100

I think we had 300 people at our wedding, printed 150 benchers and had a ton left over.
I wouldn't put more than 3 per table.

Are benchers from a gmach something you would consider?
In my Israeli chareidi circles the majority don't bother with benchers at all.

Sounds about right. I recommend putting a few aside for yourselves/family before the wedding to ensure you get and not all taken! I do know people who forgot and were left without any benchers from their own wedding.
