If you buy sourdough challah from gelbsteins bakery, do you know if their challah is just flour and water?
I bought a challah for the first time and it did not taste like regular sourdough. It was much richer tasting. It was actually very good but I would like to know if it’s authentic sourdough.

Ask them if they put yeast in their sourdough. I know some bakeries do.
