When will you use it? At what ages? For how long? It's not one size fits all- pun intended.

Good point. Newborn stage , for either around the house and/or outdoors.

Is this like the Moby wrap? It's for a gift, and she said not like that

Ergo baby embrace is amazing, my baby practically lived in it for the first four months

I love my embrace. It's specifically designed for the younger babies. But I don't wear older babies anyways.

I second the Ergobaby Embrace. A little more structured than the wraps so I felt baby had more support, yet still a comfy cloth material. Can be worn from newborn stage and then adjusted for bigger baby. It's also easy to figure out - not a huge wrapping ordeal.

And I third the Ergobaby Embrace! LOL I used mine until my last was ~15-20 pounds, then it became too uncomfortable and I switched to a Beco. But up until that point, the Embrace was great.

I got several secondhand wraps (Moby, Solly) but I found them bulky and hard to tie correctly. I was also never sure if they were tight enough/too tight.

The baby k'tan was easier to figure out than the wraps and worked when she was really little (under 10 pounds) but I still liked the Embrace better.

I liked the baby Bjorn mini. Comes in soft jersey stretch fabric or cotton woven. Both very comfy. It's a bit more complicated to put on than the ergo but is more supportive for real newborn. I had ordered both to try and stayed with the baby Bjorn
