I work in a daycare and we do official changing times at 11 and 2. Obviously if a baby has a dirty daiper in between we change it.
Assuming the baby was changed sometime in the morning, and will be changed twice before going to sleep = every 3 hours more or less

Depends on age, even after newborn stage. Recently my baby started needing less frequent changes. He's about 18 months. Every 3 hours is just fine. A few months ago, it would have been every 2.

When s/he needs it. If the diaper is wet or dirty and the baby is awake, I change it. I don’t wait for full diaper saturation or a specific time.

Nicu nurse here, we change the babies every 3 hours with the care times/feedings. Obviously if they're awake and crying in between, will check and change the diaper but babies need their rest and would never wake a sleeping baby to change a diaper...

I change as needed plus right after naps.

I check periodically- depending on feeding schedule and facial expressions (my kids you can often tell if they are making by their face!!) but I never wake a sleeping child to do a diaper check.

Daycare morah. 3 hours is fine. Plus as needed. More often is fine too but not necessary for most babies.

My baby fills a diaper every 2hrs or less, except at night. When she poops she often poops multiple times in a 1hr period. The only time she goes longer without changing is at night. I usually change her right before bed, then one time about 6hrs later.

I bottlefed all my babies.
I was taught by the hospital to change the baby right before feeding them
So if they eat every 3-4 hrs then they are changed every 3-4 hrs.
So since birth every 3-4 hrs
Unless they needed it

I change newborns with every feed.
Older babies, I’d say not longer than 4 hours

I voted every 3h but obviously not including if I notice that diaper is very wet or dirty!!!

Whenever I notice diaper is wet. Usually 2-3 hours.

As a newborn same. I never check timing. I pick up baby, I automatically feel the diaper.

Never wake a sleeping baby unless there is a safety concern. That's my motto.

My newborns tend to poop in their sleep.
I used to change them, waking them up and then they'd be awake for a very very very long long time. Sometimes 2-3 hours....
My kids old pediatrician taught me a trick, BF newborn poop (usually) doesn't irritate the skin. So if they pooped in their sleep, let them sleep in their poop. You can always change/ bathe them in the morning.

Of course if they wake in discomfort change them. But if they continue sleeping, let them. Was a game changer!!!!
