Rikki they’re in huge trouble and have to move so they can keep up their image and also have to cuts down alot of expenses.

He lost his job but is going to pretend he’s been transferred. He said they have to move far away so they can pretend they’re still living a certain lifestyle, even though they’ll have no money.

The firm was subpoenaed because of Nesanel and the boss is very unhappy. They wanted to let Nesanel go, and he understood, but he begged for them to tell people he’s being transferred.

Maybe it will make sense when I read it but this seems so unrealistic! Switch your kids schools, leave friends and family just to keep up appearances?
And this guy supposedly finished law school

Yes very extreme, and I also don't like the unhealthiness of all the wives that they are so scared to open their mouths and say This is not normal, and put their foot down.

The husband is searching internet for cheap Jewish communities, etc.
Rikki told him no need to move to keep up appearances, just be honest with his parents and siblings, they'll support and understand, that's what the family is for. Nesanel says they'll never let him live it down, his brothers will make a point of "helping", etc.
